• The Banaba is a medicinal plant that grows in India, Southeast Asia, and the Philippines. There it has been traditionally brewed as a tea and used to reduce elevated glucose levels without causing hypoglycemia.

• The corosolic acid in the banaba plant enhances glucose transport from the blood to the cells where it is converted to energy. This function appears to work without the presence of additional insulin.

• Best results are obtained with 48 mg. of extract in a lipid soluble oil form taken daily.

• Normalose may promote weight loss by keeping both insulin and blood sugar levels in check. Several pounds are usually lost within 30 to 45 days.
